I went to the Something Corporate show the other night at Soma. Now, don't get me wrong, Something Corporate was awesome, and had a lot of energy as usual, they're great in concert, but I'm really over concerts. I wasn't all excited and I stood in the back. It's not the same as it used to be. I had a good time and all, but it's different now. I'm glad I went, I enjoyed it. They played "Konstantine" and they even played "Wait." Andrew did a solo slow version of "I Want to Save You" which was pretty cool too. They played a bunch of new songs, but they played enough old ones, that it was okay. Anyway, I'm over concerts, which is sad because I used to LOVE going to shows. I'd be excited for weeks and get right up front as close as possible, pushing and shoving all those sweaty people (yuck). It's just weird how things have changed.

How'd you spend your Friday night? Mine was the typical, ya know... spent all night studying. Then I got to get up at 7 in the morning take TWO finals. I feel much better now though. All my stress is gone and I just took a 4 and a half hour nap. *sigh*

Twas the night before exam week
and all through the dorms
not a student was studying,
this was usually the norm.
Kegs in the kitchen,
Jello shots in the hall,
thanks to the liquor
it was a late night for all.
passed out all around,
the kids slept tight,
when they woke up the next day
they thought, man! what a night!
we're too hung over to study,
they shouted with cheer
so forget the exams
and bring on the beer!
