Ya know what sucks? Everyone I know not having a curfew and me having one. I'm one of the older ones too. It's not like I do anything to deserve this. Grr...

But, ya know what's fun? BOWLING! Especially bowling with friends and insulting each other a lot. It may sound like I'm being sarcastic, but I'm not. And I think Sarah can agree with me handcuffs are not fun.

Note to self: Burning finger does not feel good. Burning fingernail does not smell good.

I had a splendid day today. A very cool girl came over. We played with my old kitties for a little bit. Then we went to the store and drove around looking for the perfect playground. We came across the Santa Barbara model homes and decided to go in for a looksy. We had fun doing that. Then went home to drop off the groceries. Played with my new kitties for a bit. Did some growling. rrrrrrrr... Then we headed off for Ashley Falls elementary school. We went on the swings, played on the slides, "rode" in the car, sat on dinosaurs, played pretend saloon, and finally sat on the swings and read for a while. Then we went home for delicious cheese enchiladas. After that we got to see my favorite band, Backhanded Compliment, and met up with another very cool girl. Saw some cool people there. After the show, we got discounted ice cream and then headed over to a house in Del Mar for a small partay. We did some people watching and raved about Pirates of the Caribbean. Then to our own homes each of us went, and I had a lovely conversation with someone I usually don't converse with too much. It was all lovely, minus the fact that my beloved little kittens have left me :( and now we have "kittens from hell" or so my mom says.

Did I leave anything out? :)

I had much fun tonight. I watched Trent break a chair he was sitting in, which was definitely the high point of the night. I've never seen anyone do that before. It was a wooden chair too. Then we crammed 4 of us into the back seat of Trent's car and went to Dairy Queen and then to Hookah which is very nice now, I was impressed. Then back to Maddy's for a few games of pool. The last game we split it up into 3 teams of 2 people and my team won! I played pretty well and I'm not quite sure how that happened, but we won! Which is good, cuz I like winning, and don't like losing so much. I'm very confused as to who is going out and who's broken up and whatnot, but all in all it was a fun filled evening.

I did absolutely nothing today. I stayed in bed until after 3 because I didn't feel like getting up. Then I played with my kitties for a little bit and went downstairs, made a quesadilla and watched the Homerun Derby. Now it's after 9 and I'm watching Paradise Hotel. I feel so lazy. Tomorrow I'm gonna get up early-ish and wash my car and try to do something social. I do not enjoy sitting at home all day. Ooo, maybe I'll go to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and buy sheets!

I got 5 beautiful kittens today. They're half siamese so the three boys look siamese but not quite as scrawny. And then the two girls are tiny and adorable. One's black and the other is gray. They're so sweet! Timmy's still really scared though and doesn't like to come out. These are my foster kitties and that brings my total number of kitties to 7, NOT 20!

Also tonight Thomas came over after we saw Paul's band (Backhanded Compliment) play at Coffee Bean. That was really exciting because I haven't seen Thomas since school ended and he's really funny. We had fun. Lots of laughing and lots of kitties. Not exactly planned for, but fun nonetheless.

My mom and I have started volunteering at Petco helping out with the kitties. Anna kitten is still there and she's so cute. And then today there was this other kitten April, and she was the cutest little thing. When I put her back in the cage she just kept meowing and meowing (quite a loud sound coming from such a little thing) and every time she meowed her eyes opened really big. It was so funny. It's a good thing my dad won't let us get any more cats, cuz there's at least two I need to bring home. Hopefully soon we'll be starting foster care. That means 2 week old kittens in my house! Of course then we're gonna have to give them up :( But KITTENS!!!

I would just like to add that I am not going to be the crazy cat lady when I grow up. Thank you.

Blogger is so different now. Wow. I'm so happy to be home. San Diego weather is wonderful! And I missed my kitties. The trip was really really fun though. Fenway was great and Garciaparra hit a homerun over the green monster, and Detroit was a really cool stadium and Steve Finley hit a homerun there, Go Diamondbacks! Fun, fun fun, but home is so great.

Hello! I'm in Kansas City at some Jazz museum and next to the negro league baseball hall of fame. It's all been lots of fun. We've got one game left tonight (vs the tigers for the third time) and then we come home tomorrow morning. Hooray!!!
