Around 3:00 today I went to the kitchen poured myself a bowl of cereal went to the fridge to get some milk only to discover there was no milk. I moped around for a while about not having my milk and now I have resorted to eating my honey nut cheerios without milk. They're still good, but they'd be better with milk. Now I'm just sitting around waiting for the Charger game to end so my dad and I can go see Lord of the Rings (finally).

So as I'm wrapping Annie's present tonight I realize it wasn't the one that I meant to buy. That means I get to go back to where I bought it Thursday morning before Annie and I go shopping. Things just can't seem to go right this Christmas!

Annie- this is your inspiration to make a new design for me to put up. Meanwhile I had a lot of fun making this one even though it looks like crap, cuz it didn't matter what happened cuz I didn't have a goal. =)

In other news, being an "adult" feels no different, although I did get a voter registration form in the mail today, that was exciting.

I hate homework. There are so many other things I'd rather be doing. Actually, there isn't really anything I want to do, except maybe hang out with my friends, but I'd rather be doing anything other than writing a stupid paper for english and doing a stupid project. It's the last week before winter break, teachers shouldn't be allowed to pile on the homework and projects like this. I've already had two tests this week and I've got two more to look forward to. I don't know why I'm looking forward to break so much because I know I'll be spending at least half of it sitting at home, in front of the computer like I do all the time. Maybe I will go on that trip up to Santa Cruz with my favorite cousins.

Softball was really fun today. I got to catch up with almost everyone and didn't even break a sweat. However, also today I learned that one of my JV softball coaches passed away over the weekend. He was only 47. So I'll be spending fourth period tomorrow at his funeral. Once again my life is consumed with softball...

Senior picture tomorrow at lunch! I still don't know what we're gonna do though. I have government so much...

Softball also starts tomorrow, I must say I'm not excited about that although I am looking forward to seeing people again. I've completely lost track of some people's lives! It's a good social thing, but it was much better when more than 2 of my friends were playing...

Two more weeks of school. That's 10 days. In those 10 days I've got a crapload of government due, a government essay due, a sign language project due, and an english project due. Why do teachers feel the need to pile on the work right before break? As if I didn't already have enough stress with buying presents and everything dealing with Christmas, they want to give me more, in the form of pointless work. Not to mention college applications...

I love it when I'm hanging out with a group of guys and a "hot chick" walks by and the conversation suddenly stops and I see all of them turn their heads and stare at this girl (soooo obviously, might i add). So then I'm sitting there basically by myself. Boys need to learn to check girls out a little less obviously. There should be a class on this.

Annie needs two things:
1- a date for Saturday night (because apparently I'm not good enough)
and
2- two tickets to the ataris concert next week (cuz she's a slacker)

Miss Miller and I drove up to the emergency room in Oceanside today for the class that we're taking in Mira Costa. And while the whole tour there wasn't all that thrilling, the (looong) car ride there and back was fun. Lindsey and I spent half the time coughing, but besides that we had good conversations, catching up on stuff, getting annoyed with rattling door locks. For some reason cars are the ideal place for good conversation. I guess the fact that you've got good background music and no one else around to hear or interrupt you is a factor. I miss driving through rancho at night for lack of something better to do...

I sent my cousin my college essay and she sent it back to me with revisions and such. She put comments in brackets by stuff that she changed. For example.... "I was suddenly aware of how hard it would be for me to make the varsity team because I was {2 inches tall}." My own family.... *sigh*

Everyone is going back to college tomorrow. It's gonna be so uneventful here again for three weeks. But then it'll be winter break, yay!!!!! And for everyone who is sick right now you have my sympathies and everyone seems to be sick.
